Choose whether a vertical or horizontal framing is better for the scene you are trying to capture. In this photo a horizontal frame was chosen.Leading Lines. Use lines in your photograph to help guide the viewers eyes throughout your photograph. In this photo the lines of the field as well as the lines of the stadium levels help guide the eye.Use of Color. Compose an image with either contrasting colors or one color throughout to create a scene that is attractive to the eye.Avoid the Middle. Take your subject out of the center of the frame to avoid a static, uniform feel.Simplify the Scene. Keep your background simple and make your subject the focal point of the scene.
